Rose is a recent VCU graduate. They LOVE improv!!!!! They spend their free time writing, skateboarding, playing video games, watching anime, and looking for local auditions…

Katie is a Northern Virginia native and studied theatre performance and art history at VCU, which naturally led to a career in the legal field. She lives in Herndon with her kiddo, two cats, and whatever is scurrying around her attic at night.

They say laughter is the best medicine and health care is expensive; amateur improvist and stand up comedian out to change the world one joke at a time.

Her office manager says that she is a nice, witty person, with good integrity. She eats salad with meat in it sometimes. She looks at a lot of teeth. She is allergic to dogs. She once stole a clementine from a public garden and it haunts her to this day. Sometimes she plays a viola.

Brooke is a Maryland-born actor, singer, dancer, improviser, and theater educator currently located in Baltimore. She graduated in 2023 from the Honors College at Towson University where she received her BFA in Acting with two minors in Business Administration and Deaf Studies. Today, Brooke is Chesapeake Shakespeare Company’s Education Coordinator. She has several regional theatre credits. Special thanks to her friends and family for always supporting her - xoxo.

Samantha or “Sammy-Joe” joined Calamity in  Spring 2019 with minimal improvisation experience, and has since become one of their longest standing players! But watch yourselves, after time spent overseas serving in the U.S. military, she’s got a mouth on her!

Natasha founded Dark Horse Theatre Company in 2009 and Calamity in 2018. Prior to that, she directed numerous plays in Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., and North Carolina. She completed her directing apprenticeship in Charlotte, North Carolina and is a protégé of Michael R. Simmons. She is a spiritual gangster, existential outlaw, animal lover, motorcycle enthusiast, and mama.
