The Intrusive Thotties have been thottin their thangs all around the greater DMV area! We're best known for our contributions to the improv jams held in the Washington DC metropolitan area and regularly participate in local showcases. The Mason Improv Association is a team of nine from George Mason University. During the semester, they host jams every other Tuesday- open to anyone that wants to experience the world of improv. They also put on about three shows each semester.

The Pundemics are a ragtag group of improvisers who have come from (or been kicked out of?) some of the best improv troupes in the DMV to form an unholy alliance to spread snickers, giggles, snorts, snerks and guffaws to unsuspecting audiences around the area. And while we may think we are controlling audience reactions with our superior improv skills, creativity and comedic timing, we are really just pawns to move at their will with their suggestions. We wouldn't have it any other way!

The Herndon High School Theatre Improv Troupe is sponsored by Theatre Director Scott D. Pafumi and led by Team Captains Maggie Growney and Cara Ethington. They recently received 1st place at the All County Theatre Sports Improv event within Fairfax County Public Schools.  They will compete and defend their first place standing next month.

Jack studied theater at VCU and ODU.  He has appeared in The House of Blue Leaves and Schoolhouse Rock for Elden Street Players, and Damn Yankees at the Tidewater Dinner Theater.  He has been performing improvised comedy for over 20 years, with ComedySportz (in DC and San Jose), Emmits Boys, and his own troupe DCUP (The District of Columbia Unscripted Players) which his award-winning shows Boneless Chicken Cabaret and The Simons.  He has performed with DCUP at festivals in Toronto, San Francisco, Miami, Charleston, Los Angeles, Baltimore, and opened for Emo Philips at the DC ComedyFest.  He is the author of Short Form Improv, available on Amazon!  Jack enjoys long walks on the beach and eating red meat.

Monica is an Army veteran and DC area comic who has performed at the Kennedy Center, DC Improv, and The Helium Comedy Club.

John is a longtime fan and performer of improv. He performs bi-monthly in Alexandria with the Auxiliary.

Jo is the CEO of ArtsHerndon. She was previously the Cultural Arts & Marketing Director, City of Fairfax, and concurrently Executive Director, Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts, Inc. Prior to moving to the USA in 2000, she was the Owner and Principal of Profile Marketing Associates in the United Kingdom (UK).

 Her qualifications include BSc in Business, Economics and Law, University of London. BA in Politics and Philosophy, an MA in Marketing, University of Wales. Certified Parks & Recreation Professional (CPRP) with an accreditation (Masters)as Director NRPA from North Carolina University/National Recreation and Parks Association.

Andy is a 3rd grader who participates in the Stageworks homeschool improv troupe. He enjoys playing video games, playing Pokémon, and trading Pokémon cards.

Natasha is the Founder and Managing Artistic Director of Dark Horse Theatre Company. She created the improv troupe Calamity and Improvicon of Northern Virginia. Natasha completed her directing apprenticeship in 2006 at the Carolina Actors Studio Theatre (CAST) and is the protégé of Michael R. Simmons. She is a critically acclaimed stage director, currently in production with Yasmina Reza's Tony Award Winning Play Art at Dark Horse, which closes February 1st. She is a Performance Speaking Strategist, consultant, and panelist for TedX Talks, Toastmasters, and private speakers. Natasha is a proud homeschooling mom, partner to an incredible man, a touring motorcyclist, hobby farmer, and animal lover. She is also the owner of Northern Virginia's Mobile Veterinary Technician Service, Sit Stay Concierge Pet Wellness.
